The Beginning

Driven by a desire to provide quality speech therapy services for children, Karen A. Francioso-Howe established her very own private practice in 2006.  Inspired by her core belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to reach his or her full potential, Karen’s intent was to help children receive high quality speech therapy services in a home-like atmosphere.

​At inception, Karen A. Francioso-Howe Speech was a small, boutique-like private practice that operated out of one treatment room.  Over time, the business has flourished and acquired a team of Speech Language Pathologists that have decades of experience and specialized areas of expertise.  Currently, this team of Speech Language Pathologists collaborates with, learns from, and assists each other to provide clients with the best possible therapy experience.

Since 2006, Karen A. Francioso-Howe’s vision has come to life and expanded with the addition of co-owner, Ashley Field.  Together, they created Village Speech, which will continue to honor Karen’s ideals while striving to grow and expand the business to garner future success.  Karen A. Francioso-Howe was re-branded to Village Speech to represent our dedication to working with parents, school based teams, therapists from various disciplines, medical teams, and our  entire community in order to ensure optimal results for your child.
